BUSINESS LINES ARE PROHIBITED INVESTING

1.    Legal grounds
1.1.    Law on Investment 2014;
1.2.    Decree No. 118/2015/ND-CP;
1.3.    Law No. 03/2016 amending, supplementing Article 6 and Annex 4 on list of conditional business line of Law on Investment.
2.    Business investment activities are prohibited 
-    Trading in narcotics pursuant to Annex 1 of Law on Investment 2014;
-    Trading in mineral chemicals pursuant to Annex 2 of Law on Investment 2014;
-    Trading specimen of plants and animals;
-    Trading in prostitution;
-    Purchase, sale of human beings, tissues and organs;
-    Business activities related to reproductive cloning in human;
-    Business explosion.
            For the trading in narcotics, various kinds of mineral chemicals, specimen of plants and wild animals in analysis, testing, scientific research, medical or pharmaceutical production, criminal investigation, national defense and security, shall be conducted as follows: 
-    Narcotics pursuant to Annex 1 of Law on Investment 2014, which are permitted for production and use by the competent agency in accordance with the Government's regulation on the list of narcotic substances, pre-substances and the Convention on uniform the 1961 United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropics;

-    Chemicals and minerals pursuant to Annex 2 of Law on Investment 2014, which are permitted for production and use by the competent agency pursuant to the Government's regulation on management of chemicals under the control of the Convention on prohibiting development, production, storage, use and destruction of chemical weapons and documents guiding the Rotterdam Convention on advance informed procedures for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides objects in international trade;
-    The specimen of plants and wild animals pursuant to Annex 3 of Law on Investment 2014, which is permitted by the competent agency to be exploited under the Government's regulation on management of endangered, precious and rare forest flora and fauna and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
